Our Father,

who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name;

thy kingdom come;

thy will be done on earth

as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those that trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

The Apostle's Creed

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God,

the Father almighty,

creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ,

his only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power

of the Holy Spirit

and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died,

and was buried.

He descended into hell.

On the third day he rose again.

He ascended into heaven

and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again

to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and life everlasting.  Amen.

Act of Faith

Act of Faith

My God, I believe that you

are one God

in three divine persons:

Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I believe you are creator

of all things.

I believe that your son, Jesus,

came among us as a man.

He suffered and died

for our sins,

but rose again from the dead

on the third day.

I believe that you sent

the Holy Spirit among us.

I believe these things and all

that your holy Catholic Church

teaches us.

Amen.

because you are all good.

I love you as the creator of life,

I love you as the one

who has forgiven our sins

whom you have sent among us

to guide us in this world.

Because of my love for you,

I love my neighbor as myself.

and I ask blessed Mary,

all the angels and saints,

and you, my brothers and sisters,

to pray for me
